At The Drunken Jockeys, we’re committed to doing things responsibly. We know our industry creates waste, so we’re focused on making choices that last. Our modular bars are built with stainless steel shelving and reusable fronts, meaning as little as possible goes to waste from one event to the next. 

 

When designing menus, seasonality is always are the forefront. Seasonal ingredients just make sense, they taste better, travel less and keep things fresh without costing the earth.

 

Our approach to sustainability is simple — be mindful, use what we have well, and always look for better ways to do things. We’re not perfect, but we’re making steady progress towards a more sustainable way of celebrating.

Our Process

Source The Best.
We work closely with a small circle of trusted suppliers who share our values. All fruit and veg are carefully selected for quality ensuring control and the best flavour. Spirits, where possible are chosen with eco-friendly practices in mind like Sapling British Vodka.

 

Put In Practice.
Our processes are refined to minimise waste at every step. Juices are pressed fresh within 24 hours of service. Leftover peels and pulps are repurposed into garnishes and syrups. Quantities are planned with precision, to ensure every cocktail counts and waste at the end of the night is minimal. We’re constantly finding new efficient ways to reduce waste without compromising on quality.

 

Behind The Bar.
Built for performance and designed to last, our modular bars are constructed from durable materials and refined details. Insulated ice wells, stainless steel stations and interchangeable fronts mean zero waste. These are bars made to serve hundreds of events, not single nights. 

 

Always Doing More.
We see sustainability as a challenge, not a compromise. Through in-house mixology training and considered design, we empower our team to think sustainably from concept to execution.
